21st Jan / Ferrari Day
I hope everybody who chooses to read my BLOG will soon understand it is real !! not one of those BLOGS that gets automatically updated every time a manufacturer makes a grand announcement or shows a stunning concept they are never going to build……………thats one of many things I like about Porsche if the public see it, it will be built.
I am not going to write exclusively about Ferrari. However, I like a few people would have been watching www.ferrari.com this morning at 11 am after polite reminders from several Ferrari dealers that a new car would appear as if by magic on the screen and even if we wanted one we cannot have one until 2020, so just look anyway in wonderment…………
Have to say when it did I was quite shocked really, a mix of surprise and disappointment, a blast back to the BMW M Coupe !! I am sure it will be highly desirable, just not at the moment for me, 612 values should have risen sharply this morning…………. Took me back to my Porsche days when we first saw the Cayenne in a studio in Stuttgart and went very quiet indeed for a few days, the Cayenne of course went on to be a superb car (just the initial shock of seeing something large and a bit high off the ground) rather than the normal one inch !!
So the big subject of the day (other than poor old Alan Johnson MP) is Ferrari. I said in my last BLOG we were having a California which caused a very positive reaction from our members (that is how I know people are reading this).
So here it is guys (the actual car) it will be with us in two weeks time. I looked at many cars and colour combinations and to be honest I still think the colour combination is a Rosso & Tan car, it looks simply lovely. I am a big fan of the drive in this car (probably my favourite Ferrari at the moment) and we own it as well which makes it even better.
