My name is Ben Waine and I am the Managing Director here at Dreamcar Hire. My role specifically is to ensure that pennies are saved every month to keep our toy cupboard fully stocked throughout the year. I also can’t help but get involved in all other aspects of the business occasionally so don’t be surprised if you see me arriving at your front door with your Supercar!
I have a degree in Economics from Royal Holloway University and spent nine years at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) after claiming a place on RBS graduate corporate scheme. During my time at RBS I spent two years working in credit analysis and business risk for the Lombard Asset Finance division before moving out to the sales force where I worked my way up to Director of Asset Finance for Essex. This role saw me work with many local small to medium sized firms and gave me the bug to get out and do something myself, which I did with my now business partner Stephen Price and so here I am now.
I must confess I am not a massive petrol head, unlike most that work here, but when a new 4x4 joins the fleet I can’t help but jump behind the steering wheel. If I had to pick a favourite car in our toy cupboard I would have to go for the all new Range Rover Vogue, not just because I can barely fit in a Ferrari but because nothing beats the sheer luxury of this stunning vehicle!
Hi, my name is Stephen Price and I am a Director of Dreamcar Hire.
Originally from a fitness background, my love of Supercars stems from my childhood growing up in London and seeing the odd Lamborghini Countach & Ferrari Testarossa drive by, and thinking what it would be like to drive one. This passion for sports cars continued from my early driving years until I eventually drove my first ‘Supercar’ back in 2003.
I worked with my business partner Ben Waine to oversee the purchase of Dreamcar Hire in 2013 with a clear vision to restore this company as one of the market leaders in the top end of the UK Luxury and Supercar hire business.
I have been involved in the Supercar Hire industry since 2006 when I founded Churchillsupercars alongside Toby Churchill. After also working for Ludo Hire in Stoke on Trent for a couple of years, I joined the Dreamcar Hire team in September 2012.
As the Operations Manager, I have overall responsibility for the day to day running of the fleet of over 40 prestige, sports and supercars. This means ensuring that all the cars are presented in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. I also have responsibility for managing the delivery team to make sure the cars arrive in the right place at the right time.
Supercars have been a passion since my teenage years when such iconic cars as the Lamborghini Countach and Ferrari Testarossa were around, however, my all time favourite has to be the 1984 Ferrari 288 GTO. I have been a fan of mid-engined V8 Ferraris ever since!
I am 24 years old and been in the supercar/driving industry for 7 years. From race instructor to test driving I've tried my hardest to involve myself in anything car related since before I can remember. I've been Sales Manager at Dreamcar Hire for 18 months and love nothing more than working with like minded car lovers who understand my passion. Avid motorsport fan and used to be pretty good in a Go Kart too. If it's fast, edgy and makes all the right noises It's certainly the car for me. Anything slow need not apply!
My name is Lynne Waine, and I manage the Dreamcar Events operations sector of the business, ensuring that our clients’ supercar days are a never to be forgotten experience.
I have a Honours degree in English Literature and Spanish from Kingston University, and have spent the last 15 years working for Barclays Bank, the last 8 in a Branch Manager capacity. I have now moved over to Dreamcar Hire to support and provide the link between hiring a prestige car for an unforgettable experience and providing seamless customer service, to both individual clients and the corporate world. My interest in cars leans more towards the luxury 4x4 fleet; being quite sure I would sell my house and live in the all new Range Rover. I am becoming more enchanted with the supercars day by day- they really need to be seen to be believed!
